Of course, we focus on performance, but we also encourage students of all ages and abilities to experience the joy of these disciplines. We own and run The Blake Theatre – a well-known professional venue and public space on our site which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting.

Our senior school productions, particularly the joint Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools productions, are aimed at every pupil from Year 7 right through to Year 13.

Everyone is welcome to take part in a production at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools and we want to give our students the opportunity to shine.

At the beginning of each production, we will source a list of skills from those present and try our best to build a performance that shows them at their very best and showcases their abilities.

There are many opportunities for involvement in behind-the-scenes roles and positions, including lighting, sound, set design, costume, make-up, the box office, front of house activities and promotion.
