Our camping trip to Biblins topped off a great year Year 9. We all gathered after school on Friday, looking eager and excited with our oversized backpacks! Off we trekked, chanting and singing all the way, until we reached Biblins, pretty exhausted. Mr Hunt soon taught us how to assemble our tents, which were surprisingly easy to put up. We then had fun, playing rounders and other games. Later on, once the campfire was lit, we toasted marshmallows and told each other scary stories. At 11 o’clock, it was lights out, but we talked in our tents for a while, before attempting to settle down to sleep on the hard bumpy ground. In the morning we packed all our belongings together again and walked back to school, determined not to let another group overtake us on the way. We all arrived back, completely shattered and in need of a shower, but in good spirits, having had a very enjoyable night! Many thanks Mrs Callaghan, Mr Hunt and all of the staff who made this possible.
