It is always rewarding to witness the dogged determination and tenacity of the competitive HMSG girl! This was very much in evidence at the Rotary Club swimathon on November 5th. Congratulations to Amy, Beth, Menna, Laura, Georgia and Alex, who as a team, managed to swim 184 lengths in 55 minutes, improving upon last year’s record by 7 lengths. Their excellent efforts have raised much needed funds for the SARA, the local rescue boat and land search organisation.
