Pink Champagne

 The Monmouth School and Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls’ production of ‘Pink Champagne’ was a dazzling success, with tickets completely sold-out for each of the four nights.

The show received standing ovations from delighted audiences, with superb performances from pupils at both schools.

‘Pink Champagne’ is strongly based on the 19th century operetta ‘Die Fledermaus’ (or ‘the bat’s revenge’) by Johann Strauss.  The period style was updated for this production from the original 1870s Vienna to look like a 1940s Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film.
