Tuesday 12^th June saw HMSG 1^st VII officially crowned as Wye Valley League Champions.  They won the league undefeated; the first time this has ever been achieved in the league’s history.  In addition, Elana was named Player of the Year; an outstanding achievement, since there were over 100 players who represented the respective teams throughout the season.  Captain Lizzie received the trophy from Suzy Drane, Welsh International and South East Wales Development Officer.  She was supported by next season’s captain, Sian, along with Hannah and Annie.  HMSG 2^nd VII finished a commendable 7^th out of the 10 teams participating.
