Tea, biscuits and inspirational music.  What a wonderful way to end a busy week at HMSG.  The first of this year’s Friday Tea Concerts took place in the Music Studio in front of a sizeable audience of staff, parents and pupils.  Performances from girls in Year 7 to Year 13 demonstrated the depth of musical talent that currently exists in the school.  Welsh harp music and concerto movements which demand both musicianship and technical ability from the performers, were highlights of a varied and demanding programme of music.  The audience were unanimous in their praise for the quality, assurance and maturity the girls displayed during their performances.  The next Tea Concert takes place on Friday 30th September.
