Formal Debates

This term, on top of all other academic and extracurricular commitments, Year 12 took part in a series of formal debates (topics below).    There were several rounds in the competition and eventually a winning team was determined (Form 12H).   All girls that took part, whether proposing or opposing the motions or members of the audience, were intellectually engaged, confident, dynamic, but best of all critical and challenging!  Debate titles are only as good as those involved in the preparation and presentation of the arguments and these girls did not disappoint.   Well done girls, the Oxford Union awaits……..
