Magic of the Musicals was a spectacular evening of showstoppers from everyone’s favourite musicals. Four performances,  involving 200 performers from years 5 – 13 were staged before thrilled audiences in this celebration of song and dance.

Every Magic of the Musical number was inspired by famous songs from stage and screen, and the dances were all choreographed in-house.

The show was produced and directed by Rhyan Parry, Director of Dance, assisted by music teachers Ruth Friend and Mario Conway and dance teachers Revital Pavy and Zoë Pritchard.

The team combined to construct unique interpretations of famous pieces, creating HMSG’s first ever – and hugely popular - musical theatre variety show.  Well done to all the pupils who took part!
