On Sunday, 15^th January, the U15 National County Lacrosse Tournament was held at Westonbirt.  This year a new county entered the competition, coached by our own Mrs Crawford and Mrs Harris and made up entirely of girls from HMSG: enter Monmouthshire.  Competing against giants such Surrey, Hampshire, Gloucestershire and Kent, the girls from Monmouthshire demonstrated that they will be a force to be reckoned with at the National Schools tournament later this term, finishing in 3^rd place, behind Surrey and Berkshire.  An incredible achievement born out of commitment and dedication as well as tireless support from dedicated coaches.  The squad, led on the day by Captain Holly, are pictured being congratulated by the Headmistress.
