The recent County Championships held at Newport stadium brought success for a number of HMSG athletes.  There were wins for Menna in the 1500m and Poppy in the high jump.  In the hurdles, Emma missed out on a win by just 1/10th of a second and Gabby also came a very close 2nd in the 200m.  There were notable performances from sophie in the 100m, Darcy in the shot putt Katie in the discus.  

County Champions, Menna and Poppy will now represent the County at the Welsh Championships in July and Sophie and Gabby will wait to hear if they have been selected to run a relay leg for the County team.
