85 Girls, parents, siblings and staff ventured to see Matthew Bourne`s `Nutcracker` this last Saturday 19th November. The show was spectacular full of vibrance, colour and wonderfully performed by his company `New Adventures`. It was a contemporary twist to the classical version and was filled with humour, originality and innovative set and costumes.

On Thursday 17th November, two ex-company members came to HMSG to give a professional dance workshops to 60 girls Year 3-11. The girls were taught parts of `Nutcracker` repertoire, giving insight to the choreographic creative process of Matthew Bourne and professional dance training.
The girls behaved impeccably throughout the experience and all involved had a marvellous time.
