At the end of the summer term, GCSE Latin students had the opportunity to explore the Roman Baths at Aquae Sulis (Bath). Having acquired knowledge of Aquae Sulis through the Cambridge Latin course, they were able to see the evidence first hand, including the fascinating curse tablets. The displays in the baths are constantly evolving and this year there were two resident Roman stone masons in situ. All agreed that the site, which was of great importance as a centre of healing, was well worth a visit.
