Year 7

The Year 7 project for this year is to create an e-newsletter for Year 7, about Year 7, by

Year 7.  This is an opportunity to investigate the things that important to them and tell the rest of the year about it.  As new girls to the Main School, there will be lots of questions and things Year 7 want to know about.  This newsletter gives them the chance to go around the school, talk to different people and pull the information together into a handy guide for everyone by publishing and distributing an electronic copy to all Year 7s.  A great opportunity for any budding journalist to become a roving reporter.

Year 8

If you have a creative flair or an eye for detail, the Year 8 Computer Club is just the thing for you this year.  Year 8 have the opportunity to create their own ‘Wallace and Gromit’ style animation using clay for the models and stop-frame animation software.  The process involves everything from making the sets, characters and shooting the scenes to even adding voices to the characters and create mini films.  Could the next Nick Park be out there?
