Here in the Spanish department, our aims are:

• To give pupils the confidence to master this important world language whether it be by following the two year course or the three year course;
• To support and guide pupils to the best possible grades at GCSE and A level;
• To give pupils an insight into the rich cultures of Spain and of Spanish-speaking Latin America;
• To make language learning relevant to pupils by showing them the opportunities which are opened up by the knowledge of a foreign language;
• To make language learning and its associated extra-curricular activities FUN!
