HMSG Under 15 Tennis Team have been crowned South East Wales Champions 2010.  On Thursday, 8^th July a team of four girls travelled to Bassaleg School to compete in the final of the Championship.  The matches were extremely close, with 3 out of the 6 matches going to a tie break.  On the way to the final, the team beat Chepstow, West Monmouthshire and Caldicot.  It has been a very successful tennis season and this highlights the girls’ passion and commitment to tennis this year.  Throughout the season a squad of 6 girls:  Harriet (year 10), Becky (year 10) Sian (year 10) Eleanor (year 9) Amelia (year 9) Gabriella (year 9),  all contributed to the success.  Well done girls!

Under 13 South East Wales Championship 

The Under 13s also competed in the final of the South East Wales tennis tournament, and what a final it was!

It was 3 -3 in sets
20 - 20 in games

Then the last doubles match went to 6-6 for a tie break, which HMSG lost 7-4.
