Rowing training

Rowing runs throughout the year. Training is available Monday to Friday after school and Saturday mornings.  Early morning outings are available for girls aspiring towards International selection.

The school competes at all major Head events in the Winter and attends  premier regattas in the summer (see News and Events).  Girls wishing to compete for the school will be required to attend and follow the set weekly training programme.

Tradition breeds Success

HMSGRC is recognised as one of the top rowing schools in Britain.  Successes include wins at Women’s Henley, National Schools, National Championships, Schools Head.

International Honours

HMSGRC has strong under 16 Great Britain representation, with girls progressing to Junior 18 level British representation.  Girls are also selected annually to represent Wales at the Home Countries International Regatta.
