Rotary Young Chef

Ceri participated in the Regional Final of the Young Chef competition on Saturday and narrowly missed the opportunity to compete in the National Final in London. She did however win the best starter category with her pan fried scallops wrapped in pancetta and served with a homemade pesto.

Young Chef Reaches Regional Final!

Following two successful preliminary rounds, Ceri has now reached the Regional Final of the Rotary Young Chef of the Year Competition.

The competition is similar to Masterchef where finalists have to prepare, cook and serve a three course meal in under two hours with a budget of £14.  Impressing the judges with her calm and methodical approach, Ceri managed to demonstrate her improving culinary skills.
