The Psychology Department consists of two members of staff who both teach at AS and A Level:

Mrs AE Jervis – Head of Department

Mrs Jervis is also Head of Careers and a Year 12 Form Tutor at HMSG.  She is a Cardiff University Psychology/Sociology graduate and has worked in a range of career areas before moving into teaching, including youth work, careers advice, information and marketing, website development and training. She currently teaches both AS and A Level students.

Mrs J McQuitty

Mrs McQuitty studied Psychology and Zoology at Nottingham University and enjoys the fact that Psychology is relevant not only to many other subjects at school, but also to every aspect of our lives.  She has worked in Advertising and Marketing and was a Personal Trainer before becoming a teacher.  Mrs McQuitty teaches AS and A Level Psychology as well as PE and Sports Science.
