Following a successful audition last November Rhiannon has been called-up for the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales 2010; a significant achievement for a 12 year old (made even more remarkable by the fact that she did the audition with a broken wrist!)

Rhiannon will be the youngest brass player they have had as the age range is up to 22.  She was, in fact, barely old enough even to audition.  Rhiannon passed her grade 8 on the trombone last year and will look to do the same on the euphonium soon.  She is currently preparing for her trombone diploma -  the ATCL Recital - which she is due to take in the summer term.
