To enhance House spirit in our weekly assemblies we try to integrate the girls from all year groups. Buddy groups were introduced in 2011, the names of which were chosen by the girls such as Blueberries, Blue Moon, Bluebirds and all other things blue! Each group has about 12 girls from a full range of year groups. We have some team building assemblies, such as a scarecrow making competition for our harvest festival or making paper dresses. Each year group also has an opportunity to lead assembly with a theme of their choice.

Retaining the house cup again in 2011-12  definitely renewed enthusiasm and boosted blue house spirit.

Our new Mather girls soon settle in with our annual Year 3/4 House party dressed in all things blue!

Every year we say our goodbyes to our Year 13 Leavers and wish them all the best in their future studies and careers. We hope they will all remember their time as Mathers with fondness and keep in touch. Good luck to the Mather leavers of 2012
