Straight after making such a memorable speech on Speech Day, Brigid got into the car and drove to Loughborough to compete for the Senior Welsh Athletics Squad in the 4X400m relay.  She ran the 3^rd Leg with an impressive split of 58 seconds.

To put this in context, Brigid was running alongside athletes competing for European Championship and Commonwealth Games squad places as well as current and past Olympians.  Marlon Devonish, Christian Malcolm, Mark Lewis Francis and even Jessica Ennis were all competing at the event.

And then on Monday it was back down to earth as she sat her first A Level Latin paper!  Quite a weekend.
