On Sunday 26th April, a selection of HMSG rowers journeyed to Nottingham to compete at the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta. Here, the different counties across Britain select their best crews to compete, with WAGs and Wales selecting our very own HMSG girls to represent them.
The Junior 15 coxed four of Alice, Grace, Bethan, Rachel and Felicity competed at the event and after getting through to the final they had a fantastic race to gain the bronze medal.
The Junior 16 coxed four of Emily, Jo, Lizzie, Kathryn and Hollie also got through to the final of their division and had a convincing race to win a silver medal.
Finally, the HMSG/Llandaff composite Junior 16 eight - Emily, Jo, Kathryn, Grace, Alice, Kathryn, Hollie and two girls from Llandaff again got through to the final, achieving 4th place in their event-just missing out on the bronze medal but having raced in true Habs' style!
