Imbert Terry: Head of House

Mrs Morris teaches in the maths department and this is her fourth year as Housemistress for Imbert Terry. She believes that Imbert Terry House belongs to all the Imberts. They should run it and she is there to oversee this. She enjoys the competitions, especially the sporting ones, and admires the determination and team spirit employed by the Imberts taking part.

My name is Dolapo and I am Head of House. I study History, English and Spanish. I’ve been at this school since Year 9 and every House competition is a pleasure to take part in, so becoming Head of House has really been the highlight of my year so far. I have tried to participate in as many activities at school as possible, from rowing to lacrosse. I’m very passionate about languages and I hope to study Spanish in the future. The events that I’ve participated in, particularly with my house will definitely be the most important memories that I remember as I leave this school.

My name’s Laura. I am deputy of Imbert Terry with Coralie and am also Vice Captain of the XII 1st Lacrosse team. I am very passionate about Imbert and love to bring lots of fun! I am studying Psychology, Religious Studies and Art in my final year of Sixth form and plan to take a Gap year before going on to University. Eisteddfod is my favourite part of the year as part of the house and I love participating in any events to help us win the house cup! I am particularly known for my enthusiasm and ‘rapping’ in Imbert, so hopefully this will benefit us!

I'm Coralie, and I am currently studying English Literature, French and Art. I am hoping to study English and French at degree level, however I plan to take a gap year before university in order to improve my French language skills and also to spend some time travelling. I thoroughly enjoy playing lacrosse at HMSG and always look forward to participating in house sporting events, as I can assure you there is never a shortage of great team work and enthusiasm. As deputy head of house, my responsibility is to support or help Mrs Morris and Dola whenever I can, particularly regarding organisation of assemblies or any other house related events. I am extremely proud to be deputy head of such a great house, where all the girls achieve such great success as I am sure we will undoubtedly see in the next year.
