On the night of March 11th HMSG hosted the Hope for Haiti charity concert in which a medley of acting, singing and dancing groups performed including a rousing performance from Monmouth’s got talent winner Dom, and a imaginative remix of Lady Gaga’s hits by HMSG’s own Stefanie and Laura. The night also included a raffle and an extremely lucrative promise auction with prizes including a 3 course meal at the New Bridge Inn. The entire night was a great success thanks to our organisers Annaliza and Lauren, with support from staff. In total upwards of £1,500 was raised for the cause.
We already knew Monmouth has talent, but this concert demonstrated it also has initiative and a generous heart. Congratulations to Annalisa and all the sixth formers who made the night such a success and to Mr Conway and all the staff who helped on the night.
