School Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.40am to 4.00pm.

Recognising that many parents' hectic lives make it difficult to transport their daughters to and from school at set times, HMSG has arranged various Extended Day options to give some flexibility.

Breakfast Club

We are able to accommodate girls for breakfast from 7.15am.

After School

Girls in years 7 and 8 have a dedicated room in School House which is supervised by a member of staff.  They are given a snack after school and are then able to relax and watch TV, play board games, or complete their homework.

Girls in years 9 to 13 join the borders in Twiston Davies House.  After their snack they can go into town, unless we are notified otherwise, or can use the common room areas with TV and computer access.

Supper is served at 5.30pm.  Girls attending extended day sessions can be collected at any time between 4.00pm and 9.00pm.

Occasional boarding is also available for girls that need to remain at school overnight from time to time. Occasional boarders join in all boarding activities during their stay.
