Welcome to the Art Department

We are an enthusiastic staff committed to providing the best art education possible for the girls in our care.  We provide tuition in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and photography (extra curricular), underpinned by an awareness of design and art history.

Lessons are relaxed and fun, everyone makes progress and from years 7 to 13 pupils express great pride in all they create.  Many parents’ homes are adorned by the beautiful paintings, sculptures and photographs produced by their daughters during both junior and senior years.

We delight in our pupils’ successes and nothing gives us greater pleasure than to help students to reach their full potential.  We believe that everyone can learn to draw and make and those who decide to take their studies further achieve very good results at GCSE, AS and A2 levels, many pupils going on to specialise in respected Art institutions in the UK and abroad.
