Friends of HMSG is an extension of the sense of community which includes all parents. 'Friends' organise a wide variety of social and fund raising events and they have helped to provide many additional facilities around the School.
Friends fund new piano for Main Hall
The piano is now being used in the hall at school assemblies, concerts and productions.

The new music stands which were funded by Friends for the Jazz Crusaders have now been fully completed, with the Band’s logo on a background of light blue. They were first used at the Children in Need concert, and then at a senior concert in May.
Plans for the future centre on being in a position to enhance the facilities available for the girls in the new building work centred around Powell House, Salter House and Glover. We wish to do similarly for the new Drama Department developments at the rear of the Main School Hall, which will involve the refurbishment of the rear of the Main School Hall above the Garden Room and entrance. It will include rehearsal rooms with mirrored walls, a “wet room” and sound-proofing to prevent noise passing to and from the main hall. It is a very exciting development and one that Friends is keen to assist in, by way of funding specific items that are needed and will enhance the facilities.
