Dance is extremely popular throughout all years at HMSG and is a vibrant feature of school life. Every girl is given the opportunity to experience and enjoy a full range of dance styles during physical education lessons and in our many extra-curricular clubs, performance groups and private lessons. We also offer excellent tuition in classical ballet, tap and modern dance.
We pride ourselves in offering a breadth of dance styles, tuition and opportunities to rival any performing arts school.
We believe that dance is for everyone: from those who want to study for formal examinations and receive classical training; to those who simply want to dance for enjoyment relaxation and self-expression.
Ms Parry, Mrs Pavey and Ms Pritchard are always happy to meet with pupils and parents to discuss all dance opportunities at HMSG.
HMSG Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz lessons
All classes in these three disciplines are booked per term at a cost of £6.50 per hour, £4.35 per 40 minutes, and £3.25 per half hour. Please note that a full term’s notice in writing is required if you wish to cancel these lessons.
These are in addition to many other dance classes offered throughout the week; the timetable for which will be updated regularly on the website.
