Geographical Association’s Worldwise Quiz 2008

In November three intrepid Year 10 geographers, Laura, Sam and Ella travelled to Hereford Cathedral School to represent HMSG at this annual geographical quiz event.

The girls were valiant in their efforts and faced some stiff competition from eight local schools.  The individual and team questions were challenging and the ‘country outline’ section proved very tricky for the staff, but luckily not so for the girls!

A great deal of fun was had by all and the jam doughnuts and hot chocolate were greatly received.  The girls put in a stirling effort and gained joint third place with Monmouth School, our highest placing in the last four years, well done girls!
