‘Design Education’ is offered in its broadest sense, aiming to foster confidence in innovation and exploration, encouraging problem-solving and a passion for discovery and learning.  We strive to provide an atmosphere that nurtures creativity, hard work and a tangible link to adulthood and the world of work.  We aim to support pupils with a view to maximising their potential, setting and achieving their aims in a happy, caring environment.

Technology is a subject which incorporates ALL the key skills recognised as being essential for the world of work.  Many of the activities involved in Technology cut across traditional subject boundaries and link their ideas, knowledge, values and skills together.  This gives pupils flexibility, originality, imagination and a multi-disciplinary approach that is needed for the twenty-first century.  It also aims to help them become responsible adults, able to make their own technological and environmental decisions based on experience and enable them to contribute to policy making in their communities.
