This year Friends provided funds for a much needed lacrosse shelter on the all-weather pitch. Friends have also contributed to the cost of new steps down to the playing fields which should make access to the fields and the Astroturf much easier for girls and spectators.

In March John Lewis-Stempel delivered the Friends Spring Lecture – a fascinating talk on the theme of his book “Six Weeks: The Life and Death of the British Officer in the First World War”


The Friends Spring Flower Ball was a lovely event which took place in the marquee after Speech Day on a gloriously sunny evening.
We also contributed to the cost of of the t-shirts in House colours which the girls wore for the first time on Sports Days, whilst their parents were able to enjoy Pimms and Strawberries from the Friends stall
Friends supported The Jazz Crusaders (and ran the bar) at the fabulous Jazz Night in June.
Friends have agreed to fund the purchase of an Encyclopaedia Britannica for the newly refurbished library
