The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is run at HMSG by Mr Alan Hunt (BSc) who has been involved in the Award for approximately 15 years.

He first came to HMSG to help out with the award in 2000 but became Expeditions coordinator in 2003 and took on the running of the department in 2008.

Mr Hunt is an expeditions assessor at all levels of the award, has wilderness first aid training and is a Mountain Leader, WGL, single pitch climbing and mountain bike leader.
