The CCF have had an outstanding Biennial Inspection.  The CCF, based at Monmouth School, is open to sixth form girls and is extremely popular.  The Inspecting Officer commented:

‘It was an excellent day:  well organised and comprehensive and providing ample opportunity to gauge the enthusiasm and positive attitude of both Cadets and adult staff.  I am able to add the experience of this day to my wider knowledge of the CCF and I consider that I am in a good position to make a sound evaluation.

Monmouth School CCF ‘is a large, happy and productive CCF.  The cadets think it is fun.  In reality they are becoming much better citizens as a result of the programme they follow.  I have no doubt that this ‘added value’ will enhance their career prospects.’
